As lofty as it may sound, Fit Cake has a mission. It is encapsulated in the slogan: "No sugar, no problem". It is our motto, not an empty slogan. Sugar is one of the biggest addictions of the 21st century and diabetes is one of the most dangerous diseases of civilisation. Therefore, we do not use sugar in our kitchen. We replace it with xylitol, erythrol or fruit. We give up gluten, lactose and animal products.
We also pursue our mission by promoting and educating on healthy eating. We want to change the eating habits of Poles for the better. We have established cooperation with associations and organisations across the country supporting people with dietary problems, especially children. Among others, we cooperate with the Foundation for Children with Diabetes "3mam cukry" from Białystok, the Podkarpackie Association of Friends of Children and Young People with Diabetes from Rzeszów, the Foundation for Children with Diabetes in Warsaw and the Teddy-Bear Foundation from Białystok.
Our joint activities include:
- conducting workshops on the preparation of healthy sweets
- participation in campaigns, conferences and events promoting a healthy, sugar-free diet
- preparing sweet tables and gifts for special fit occasions
- organising games and competitions to raise awareness of healthy eating
- involvement in actions promoting sport and an active lifestyle
There are no problem customers for us. We are able to satisfy consumers who are gluten intolerant, affected by various types of allergies, follow special diets (including weight loss diets), suffer from coeliac disease, diabetes and other digestive disorders. We also specialise in products for athletes, people who train intensely and lead an active lifestyle.
However, that is not all. At the beginning of June, we joined the To Good To Go programme, an organisation that aims to combat food waste. By doing so, we are further emphasising with our activities how close we are to changing eating habits - including those of zero waste.
We encourage all those who are moving in a similar direction to join our anti-sugar coalition.
